Additional Announcements

Our half night of prayer is taking place this Friday, 6th February from 8pm-12 midnight. The theme this year is ‘Jesus said, “ALL power has been given to me in heaven and on earth…”’ There will be plenty of variety throughout the evening, and times of praise too. Please feel free to drop in and out as needed. It’s always a great evening.

The Youth Fellowship are going go-karting next Saturday, 7th February at 3pm. They will be travelling to ‘Need 4 Speed’ in Doagh. Please speak to Tom McNeilly if you wish to go.

We plan to run Christianity Explored for 6 weeks, beginning on Thurs 19th Feb at 8pm. This is a course specifically designed to bring non-Christians along to, so they can explore what the Bible teaches and ask questions. People are often happier to come if someone they know brings them, so please think and pray about who you could bring along – a friend, neighbour, workmate or relative. Invitations are available on the coffee dock and in the vestibule for you to use to invite someone. Or, if you come along to this church, but are not yet entirely sure what it means to follow Jesus, this is your chance to come along and explore more. All are welcome.

The Elders would like to better use the time before the morning service to give greater opportunities for prayer and fellowship. The plan is that the Sunday morning prayer meeting will move to 10:45am to coincide with the start of Sunday School and Bible Class.  Then there will be tea and coffee from 11:15. You are welcome to attend the prayer meeting or just come for some fellowship over a cuppa.  To make this happen, we need volunteers for tea and coffee. If you can help in this way, please sign up on the sheets at the front and back or speak to Carolyn or Stephen.

We will soon be submitting our Gift Aid claim for the 2025 givings. It is very important that you update the Gift Aid agent, Ronnie Brown, of any changes to your circumstances since you last signed a Gift Aid form, particularly if you are no longer a tax payer or have changed address. If you are a tax payer and contribute through CWO, but do not currently Gift Aid your contributions, Ronnie would be happy to explain to you how your contribution could be boosted by 25% at no cost to yourself by signing a form.
